aGoodCause.com was founded in 2004 by two Danish entrepreneurs. aGoodCause.com began with the idea of making it possible to help a good cause for free when shopping online. The companies pay the donations, but you get to decide where the money goes.

Many people talk about making a difference in the world. We have made it possible for YOU to change the world when you shop online. All you have to do is install our little AidMaker program on your computer. That will give you the power to decide what you want to change and improve.

Even though the idea started out with a personal desire to make a difference, the project has since grown to include more people than just the founders. aGoodCause.com has become a success thanks to the countless dedicated individuals who work hard every day to put all their creativity and energy into further developing our website and program for the benefit of everyone – especially the charitable organizations.


We guarantee that the money goes to the right place
When business and charity are combined, honesty and openness are the key. That is why we always publish our accounts on our website and personally answer any questions you might have. At the same time, every percentage and amount you see in connection with aGoodCause.com indicates the exact and full amount that is donated to your preferred charity when shopping online.

In addition to the donation, the participating shops pay a small fee to cover operating and development costs in connection with aGoodCause.com. This amount is invoiced separately to the participating shops and does not affect the donation to the organizations.
